Prices vary by date. On 8 October 2026, ages 16 and over paid ¥2,800, ages 7–15 ¥1,400 and ages 3–6 ¥700; ages 2 and under entered free. The same calendar listed adult prices of ¥3,200 on 10 October and ¥3,500 on 11–12 October. Choose your booking date to check its price.
Opening hours
Hours vary by date, with last admission one hour before closing. On 8 October 2026, hours were 10:30–20:00 and last admission 19:00. Check your date's calendar for closures or shortened hours.
What to see at Kaiyukan
Leave time to watch the large-tank animals
Pause by the large tanks to watch marine life. If you want longer at favourite exhibits, reduce consecutive facility visits afterwards and give the aquarium more time.
How to get to Kaiyukan
Take Osaka Metro's Chuo Line to Osakako. From Exit 1, follow Ferris wheel and Tempozan Marketplace signs for about 5 minutes to Kaiyukan.

Choose your date and entry time first
Official school-group material gives 90–120 minutes for a circuit, excluding entry queues, meals and station travel. From the airport, allow immigration, baggage collection and transport when choosing entry time.
Eat before or after the aquarium
Re-entry ended on 15 June 2026. You cannot leave for a meal during the visit and return on the same ticket; eat before entry or after finishing.
