Admission
Adult bathing: weekdays ¥650, otherwise ¥800. Busy dates including New Year, Golden Week and Obon are excluded from weekday pricing. Elementary/junior high students pay ¥350 on ordinary dates; preschool children are free. The two-bath Kin no Yu/Gin no Yu ticket costs ¥1,200. The footbath beside Kin no Yu is free.
Opening hours
08:00–22:00, bathing reception until 21:30. Closed the second and fourth Tuesday each month; if that Tuesday is a public holiday, it opens and closes the following day. Also closed 1 January.

How to get to Arima Kin no Yu
From central Kobe, take the subway to Tanigami. Transfer to Kobe Electric Railway, get off at Arimaguchi and transfer again to an Arima Onsen-bound train. The facility’s April 2023 guidance gives roughly five minutes on foot from Arima Onsen railway station to Kin no Yu. This differs from the ropeway station; use the railway station as your starting point. Check dated service times and transfer routes.

Weekday-price exclusions and closures
Weekday pricing may not apply during busy periods such as New Year, Golden Week and Obon. The second and fourth Tuesday each month are closure days, moving to the following day for public holidays. It also closes 1 January. Check the facility’s dated guidance first if bathing is your main purpose.
Allow the walk back to the railway station
From central Kobe, transfer at Tanigami and Arimaguchi for Arima Onsen Station. After bathing and eating, allow the walk back and transfer time. The railway’s Arima Onsen Station and ropeway station are different places.

You can bathe at Kin no Yu without hot-spring accommodation. Full bathing requires paid admission; the adjacent footbath is free. Ryokan accommodation and meals are separate.
