Admission
Outdoor cliff views are free. Cave admission is JPY 1,500 for junior high school age and above, JPY 750 for elementary school students, and free for preschool children.
Opening hours
Cave hours are 08:00–17:00, with last admission at 16:50.

How to get to Sandanbeki
From JR Shirahama Station, take the bus for about 20 minutes to Sandanbeki stop, then walk about five minutes to the cliffs. The 20-minute bus estimate starts at JR Shirahama Station. From your accommodation, check the nearby stop and return services separately.

Visiting tips
Bad weather and maintenance can close the cave
The cave may close temporarily for bad weather or maintenance. Maintenance closure is possible in mid-December, so check operating notices for your visit date if you want to go inside.

Walk from the bus stop to the cliffs
The cliffs are about five minutes on foot from Sandanbeki stop. Check the return bus beforehand and allow visiting time for the cave if adding it.
