How to get to Miyazaki Prefectural Museum of Nature and History
From Miyazaki-Jingu Station, enter through the shrine torii across the intersection and walk through the grounds for approximately 11 minutes to the museum. By bus, leave from Miyazaki Station west-side bay 2 towards Koga Hospital, Kunitomi or Shusen-no-Mori, get off at Hakubutsukan-mae and walk approximately three minutes. The existing material did not confirm bus frequency or fares. By car, check the operator's Yanosaki intersection and west-gate guidance; car park 1 is in front of the main building inside that gate. Station-based walking time differs from the car park walk.

New Year and inspection closures
Closed 28 December 2026–4 January 2027 for New Year, and 26 January–2 February 2027 for facility inspection. Other closures may occur for organization, fumigation or maintenance; check the official calendar. On departure day, allow time after the museum for car return or travel to the station/airport.
