Visiting tips
Plum festival and Kobuntei closures
Plum blooms vary with visit dates. During the festival, main garden closing may be adjusted to 17:00 as a general rule. Kobuntei closes on 29–31 December. For its interior, check fees and last entry separately from the main garden.
Walk from the bus stop to Omote-mon
The main garden's Omote-mon gate is about a 5–8-minute walk from Kobuntei Omote-mon Iriguchi stop. Despite the Kobuntei name, this stop is not directly outside the building entrance. It also differs from the main garden's east gate; check Omote-mon on the map.
