Individual admission is ¥300 general or ¥150 for elementary and junior-high students. Special and planned exhibitions may have separate prices.

Visiting in the afternoon
Last admission is at 4 p.m. and the museum closes at 4:30 p.m. If stopping at your accommodation first, allow for the journey between it and the station before arriving at the museum.
Regular closures and exhibition changes
Closed Wednesdays, except when Wednesday is a public holiday. Also closed on the last Monday of each month, or the following day when that Monday is a holiday, and December 28–January 4. Temporary closures for exhibition changes also occur, so check the dates of the exhibition you want to see.

Do I need another train from Yumoto to Hakone Museum of History?
No. Walk about 5 minutes from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Unlike the Open-Air Museum, it does not require another mountain train journey uphill.
