Admission

Ordinary worship is open during gate hours. Check the official information below for worship fees. A separately requested prayer costs at least JPY 5,000 per prayer request.

Opening hours

Worship hours are 05:00–18:00. The reception office operates from around 08:30 to 16:00; prayer reception runs from around 09:00 to 14:30. Goshuin shrine stamps are accepted until 16:00, which differs from the worship hours.

How to get to Kibitsujinja Shrine

From Okayama Station, take a JR Kibi Line (Momotaro Line) train towards Soja and get off at Kibitsu. The shrine is about a 10-minute walk from the station. The shrine's official directions give a train journey of about 17 minutes; JR timetable searches show 15–18 minutes one way. Check actual train times for your visit and allow waiting time separately. Return on a train from Kibitsu Station towards Okayama.

Kibitsujinja Shrine and Kibitsuhiko Shrine are different shrines. For Kibitsujinja Shrine, get off at Kibitsu Station, and check both the shrine name and station in your directions.
