Admission

Individual admission is JPY 420 for adults and JPY 210 for elementary and junior high school students and visitors aged 70 and older. Preschool children enter free. Groups of 20 or more pay JPY 320 per adult and JPY 160 per elementary or junior high school student; follow official guidance for other group rates and exemptions.

Hours are 09:00–17:00 from 20 February to 30 September and 09:00–16:30 from 1 October to 19 February. Closed on 29–31 December. Hours may change during the plum festival.

How to get to Kodokan
