Admission
Individual permanent exhibition admission: adults and university students ¥460; high school students ¥230; elementary and junior high school students ¥110. Special exhibitions cost extra.
Opening hours
09:00–16:45, admission until 16:15. Closed Mondays, except public holidays and substitute holidays. The day after a public or substitute holiday is also a closure day, with exceptions for weekends, public holidays and other cases. Check your visit date in the official opening calendar.

How to get to Sendai City Museum
Take the Tozai subway line to International Center Station, use south exit 1 and walk approximately eight minutes to the museum. By Loople Sendai, get off at Museum, International Center and Ryokusaikan and walk approximately three minutes.
