Individual admission: adults and university students ¥570; high school students ¥410; elementary and junior high school students ¥210.
Opening hours
1 February–30 November 09:00–16:50, admission until 16:30. 1 December–31 January 09:00–16:20, admission until 16:00.

See Date Masamune's mausoleum architecture up close. After climbing the approach, pause in front of the mausoleum to examine the building's decoration.
How to get to Zuihoden Mausoleum
Take Loople Sendai to Zuihoden-mae and climb the shrine approach. There are approximately 80 steps to the entrance and approximately 30 inside the grounds. By subway, use Omachi Nishi-koen Station on the Tozai Line and walk approximately 15–20 minutes.

Visiting tips
Stairs along the shrine approach
There are approximately 80 steps to the ticket office and approximately 30 inside the grounds, with many stone-paved paths. If using stairs is difficult, ask the facility what areas you can visit first.

Closed 31 December. On 1 January, only Zuihoden opens; Kansenden, Zennoden and the historical museum close.

Can I visit Zuihoden without stairs?
There are approximately 80 steps to the ticket office and approximately 30 inside the grounds. It is difficult to plan this as a visit without stairs. If you need mobility assistance, ask the facility about areas you can visit before travelling.
