Admission

Keep admission is JPY 500 for ages 15 and over; junior high school students and younger enter free. The combined ticket for Korakuen Garden and the castle keep costs JPY 800.

Opening hours

The keep opens 09:00–17:30, with admission until 17:00. It closes December 29–31 and may close temporarily for severe weather or inspections.

How to get to Okayama Castle

From Okayama Station, take a tram bound for Higashiyama and get off at Shiroshita, then walk towards the castle. If you are also visiting Korakuen Garden across the river, follow the official facility map between them.
