Admission
For exhibitions from 25 September to 28 November 2026: standard adult museum permanent collection ¥530, art collection ¥400, same-day 1DAY pass ¥750. Preschool children are free. This does not include all special exhibitions. Recheck exhibits/prices for later visits.
Opening hours
Tuesday–Thursday/Sunday: 09:00–18:00, last entry 17:30. Friday/Saturday: 09:00–20:00, last entry 19:30. Closed Mondays except public/substitute holidays and Okinawa Memorial Day, closing the next weekday instead. Also closed 29 December 2026–3 January 2027.

Walk roughly 10 minutes from Omoromachi, or 15 at a slower pace. The 8 September 2026 notice closes the side entrance and rear gate until further notice; use the main entrance.

Use the main entrance
A notice dated 8 September 2026 closes the side entrance and rear gate until further notice. Allow roughly 10–15 minutes walking from Omoromachi to the main entrance. Check whether the closure notice has changed before visiting.
