Admission
Admission is JPY 500 for adults, JPY 200 for junior high and high school students, and JPY 100 for elementary school students. Groups of 30 or more pay JPY 400, JPY 150 and JPY 70 respectively.
Opening hours
Usual visiting hours are 09:00–16:30, with last admission 30 minutes before closing. From December 10 to January 31, hours shorten to 09:00–16:00, with last admission at 15:30. The official information does not list a regular closing day; check event and weather notices before visiting.

How to get to Zuiryuji Temple
From Takaoka Station, leave on the south side and walk about 10 minutes to Zuiryuji Temple. From Shin-Takaoka Station, the walk takes about 15 minutes. Follow the official access route for your arrival station.

Choose your walk for the station you arrive at
The temple is about 10 minutes on foot from Takaoka Station’s south side, or about 15 minutes from Shin-Takaoka Station. These are different routes, so check which station your train reaches before travelling.
Arrive earlier in winter
From December 10 to January 31, the temple closes at 16:00, with last admission at 15:30. For a late-afternoon visit, allow time for both the walk from the station and the temple visit. Check temple notices for changes due to events or weather.
