During the outdoor opening season, admission is 420 yen for ages 16 and above, 300 yen for ages 7–15 and free for ages 6 and below.
Opening hours
29 April–30 September: 09:00–16:30, last admission 16:00. 1 October–3 November: 09:00–16:00, last admission 15:30. Closed Mondays, or the following day if Monday is a public holiday. See the visitor notes below for winter garden and glasshouse information.

How to get to Botanic Garden, Hokkaido University
Leave JR Sapporo Station by the south exit and walk to the garden's main gate, about 10 minutes away. Use this gate during the outdoor opening season.
Before you visit
No outdoor garden walks in winter
The outdoor garden closes 4 November–28 April. Existing facility information also lists the glasshouse as closed to visitors. Check whether it has reopened before planning it as a winter alternative.

No. The Botanic Garden is a separate paid facility. Use its main gate to visit the outdoor garden.
