Opening hours
Main hall: April–September 06:00–17:00; October–March 06:30–17:00. Other buildings and Nakamise shops have separate opening hours.
What to see at Senso-ji
Kaminarimon, Nakamise and the main hall
Start at Kaminarimon and browse Nakamise shops as you walk towards the hall. Add street browsing to your temple approach.
How to get to Senso-ji
Take the Ginza or Toei Asakusa Line to Asakusa and walk to Senso-ji. Tsukuba Express Asakusa is in a different location; use directions for your actual line.
Before you visit
Shops may be closed early in the morning
Main-hall worship and Nakamise shops keep different hours. To shop after morning worship, check when your chosen shops open.

Can I worship at Senso-ji's main hall early in the morning?
Worship starts at 06:00 in April–September or 06:30 in October–March; the main hall closes at 17:00. Nakamise shops keep separate hours, so early-morning shopping may be difficult.
