Admission

Basic-exhibition admission costs JPY 700 at the general rate, JPY 400 for senior high school students, JPY 200 for primary and junior high school students, and JPY 350 for visitors aged 70 and above. Special exhibitions cost extra. To visit the townscape as well, check the combined ticket’s price, validity and use on different days before buying.

How to get to Ichijodani Asakura Family Site Museum

Take the JR Etsumi-Hoku Line (Kuzuryu Line) to Ichijodani, then walk about three minutes to the museum. The rail ride is about 15 minutes. Check your Fukui-bound return train too.

Adding the reconstructed townscape

The townscape is elsewhere. Allow exhibition and travel time for both visits. Free Karamon-bound shuttles are listed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 4 April to 29 November 2026. Check other weekday transport in the museum’s official access guide.
