How to get to Lake Towada Yasumiya shore
The prefectural agency gives a walk of about 15 minutes from the stop to the statue; the environment ministry gives five minutes from central Yasumiya to the shrine. These walks start at different points, so the timings do not establish a 20-minute walk covering the whole area. For cruises or Oirase, check operation and return transport separately.

Take JR Bus towards Lake Towada from Aomori after choosing both date-specific services. Winter buses end at Sukayu, not Yasumiya. Western-shore Towada Hotel takes roughly 15 minutes by reserved shuttle; book by around 22:00 the previous evening or it does not run. Check other hotels’ own conditions.
Shuttles from the hotel to Yasumiya depart at 08:30, 09:30 and 10:30; those from Yasumiya to the hotel depart at 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00. Reserved fixed-time services can change without notice. Confirm both rides for shore walks during multi-night stays.
