The centre opens from 09:00 to 17:00 in April–October, with last entry at 16:30. In November–March, it opens from 09:00 to 16:30, with last entry at 16:00. It closes on 29 December–3 January and irregularly for exhibition changes; check closure guidance for your date.

How to get to Hiraizumi Cultural Heritage Center

Take the Run Run loop bus from Hiraizumi Station to the Cultural Heritage Center stop. The address is 44 Hanadate, Hiraizumi. The timetable gives seven minutes from the station to the centre and 13 minutes back along the loop. Adult fares are JPY 200 per ride. Run Run operates on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 11 April to 29 November 2026, plus 13–16 August. The first morning bus from the station leaves at 10:15. On other dates, check ordinary-bus return services and fares separately.
