The Home Gallery and ordinary free spaces have no admission charge. Special exhibitions in rooms I and II charge according to the exhibition. Events may change free-space conditions too; check guidance for your date.
Opening hours and closed days
The museum opens from 10:00–20:00, with exhibition-room entry until 19:30. It closes on Tuesdays and over New Year. If Tuesday is a public holiday, it opens and closes the following weekday. Check visit-date notices for exact New Year closure dates and area-specific event or construction restrictions.

How to get to Contemporary Art Museum, Kumamoto
Take tram route A from Kumamoto Station towards Kengunmachi to Torichosuji. BIPRES Kumanichi building is about one minute from the tram and bus stops on foot. Use the street-side escalator or lift to reach the museum on the third floor. Return to Kumamoto Station on route A towards Tasakibashi.
