Opening hours

The museum opens 10:00 AM–8:00 PM, with gallery admission until 7:30 PM. The museum closes Tuesdays and over the year-end holiday. When Tuesday is a public holiday, the museum opens and closes the next weekday instead. Check notices for actual year-end closure dates and space-specific event or construction restrictions.

From Kumamoto Station, take a Route A tram toward Kengunmachi and get off at Torichosuji. Walk about 1 minute from the tram or bus stop to the Bipuresu Kumanichi Kaikan building. Use the street-side escalator or elevator to reach the third-floor museum. For Kumamoto Station, return on Route A toward Tasakibashi.
