Which Kumamoto Attractions Should You Visit?
Consider Kumamoto Castle for the keep and restoration work, or Suizenji Jojuen for a break beside its pond and miniature Mount Fuji. Explore Kumamoto's history and nature at the city museum, or art installations at the contemporary art museum in Torichosuji. For grassland scenery or an onsen ryokan stay, plan a separate day and return transport for Aso or Kurokawa.
