Individual admission costs JPY 200 for general visitors and JPY 100 for senior high school and university students. Junior high school pupils and younger children enter free. Adding a separate Honmaru Goten ticket brings the adult total to JPY 300. The city’s two-facility ticket combines the museum and art museum.
Opening hours and closed days
Open 09:00–17:00, with last admission at 16:30. Closed Mondays, or the following day when Monday is a public holiday, and on the fourth Friday unless it is a public holiday. Also closed from 29 December to 3 January and during fumigation, disinfection or collection organisation.

How to get to Kawagoe City Museum
From Kawagoe or Hon-Kawagoe Station, take a Tobu bus via Kuranomachi to Satsunotsuji, then walk about ten minutes. Alternatively, walk about one minute from Eagle Bus’s museum and art museum stop, or the Tobu bus or shuttle’s museum-front stop.
