Admission
Individual general admission is ¥200; high school and college students pay ¥100, and junior high school students and younger enter free. Adding a separate Honmaru Palace ticket brings the adult total to ¥300. The city's two-facility combined ticket pairs the museum with the art museum.
Opening hours
The museum is open 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with admission until 4:30 PM. It closes Mondays, or the following day when Monday is a public holiday. It also closes on the fourth Friday unless that day is a public holiday, during December 29–January 3, and during fumigation, disinfection, or collection organization.

How to get to Kawagoe City Museum · 川越市立博物館
From Kawagoe or Hon-Kawagoe Station, take a Tobu bus via Kura no Machi to Fudanotsuji, then walk about 10 minutes to the museum. From the Eagle Bus stop Hakubutsukan/Bijutsukan-mae or the Tobu bus/shuttle stop Hakubutsukan-mae, walk about 1 minute.
