Frequently asked questions

When do you visit the Open-Air Museum on a four-day trip with one night in Hakone?

Move from Yokohama to Yumoto on day three, then take the mountain train to the Open-Air Museum. On day four, visit the history museum before heading down to Odawara. Include that final museum visit only if airport travel leaves enough time; skip it if time is tight.

Can you use the same pass for Kamakura, Enoshima and Hakone?

From a Yokohama base, use JR for trips to Kamakura and Fujisawa, buying the Enoden journeys you need separately. For a Hakone overnight stay, travel via Odawara and use Hakone’s mountain trains. Check the designated Hakone transport and starting-station-specific Odakyu return coverage of the Hakone Freepass; JR from Yokohama to Odawara and attraction admission cost extra. An Enoden day pass does not cover JR or Hakone transport either.
