For two days in Yamagata, city walks or a temple visit?
Choose the park and Bunshokan for castle remains and historic Western-style decoration, or the park and Yamadera for temple stairs and views. After visiting Yamadera, allow time to descend and return to the station. With an early final-day departure, omit the temple and stay in the city.
