NONBIRI Holiday Suica Pass: valid dates, routes and IC gates
NONBIRI Holiday Suica Pass
The NONBIRI Holiday Suica Pass · のんびりホリデーSuicaパス is an IC card-only ticket for one day on specified JR routes around Tokyo, the Rinkai Line and Tokyo Monorail. It is available for Saturdays, Sundays, Japanese public holidays and specified seasonal periods. Shinkansen services are excluded.
When is this pass useful?
Compare it with ordinary fares for a return journey around Tokyo on a holiday, particularly if you also plan to get off at intermediate stations. For a weekday trip, first check whether the date falls within an eligible seasonal period.

Which dates can I use it?
You can use it on Saturdays, Sundays and Japanese public holidays. It is also valid every day from 29 April to 5 May, 20 July to 31 August and 29 December to 3 January. Each ticket is valid for one selected day.
Check your IC card before buying
This discount ticket is used with an IC card. Do not assume every Mobile Suica or Welcome Suica version supports it: check the official sales guidance for the card you hold before buying.
Which trains are included?
Within the designated area, the pass covers non-reserved seating on JR local and rapid trains, the Rinkai Line and Tokyo Monorail. A separate limited express ticket is required to take a limited express train. The pass cannot be used on the Shinkansen.
Where can I buy it?
Buy the pass at JR East reserved-seat ticket machines within the valid area, except in certain locations. A station having a ticket machine does not mean that every IC card type is supported.
From purchase to boarding
Check that your travel date is a Saturday, Sunday, Japanese public holiday or a day within one of the specified seasonal periods.
Confirm that your IC card supports this product, then choose the travel date at a suitable JR East reserved-seat ticket machine.
Tap the IC card on the reader at automatic gates within the valid area. This is different from inserting a paper ticket or Exchange Order.
Check the boundary stations and your IC card balance: fares outside the area may be deducted from the balance. Limited express tickets are purchased separately; the Shinkansen is excluded.
