How to get to Jodogahama · 浄土ヶ浜
From Miyako Station, take a city bus toward Miyako Hospital that stops at Jodogahama Visitor Center. Get off at the visitor center (浄土ヶ浜ビジターセンター) and walk to the beach. Miyako City gives a bus ride of about 13 minutes followed by a walk of about 15 minutes. The adult ¥500 Jodogahama–Miyako Port day pass can cover the round trip on this section. Check the operator’s timetable for the day of the week you travel to choose your return bus.
Visit tips
Walk from the Visitor Center to the Beach
Even if your city bus from Miyako Station stops at the visitor center, you still need to walk to the beach. The free grounds loop shuttle is seasonal and separate from city buses to the station. Check its service dates together with your return city bus.
