How to get to Jodogahama
From Miyako Station, take a Miyako Hospital-bound city bus that calls at Jodogahama Visitor Center (浄土ヶ浜ビジターセンター). Get off there and walk to the beach. Miyako city guidance gives about 13 minutes aboard and about 15 minutes walking after alighting. The adult JPY 500 Jodogahama–Miyako Port day pass covers this return bus journey. Check the operator’s return timetable for the appropriate day of the week.
Before you visit
Walk from the Visitor Center to the beach
Even after taking a Miyako Station city bus via the Visitor Center, you must walk from the stop to the beach. The free park shuttle is seasonal and separate from city buses to the station. Check its operation on your date together with your return city bus.
