Would you prefer more literature and temples or a coastal stay?

Stay three nights in Morioka to visit Kenji’s literature exhibitions and Hiraizumi’s temples on separate days. For separate beach and market-and-cruise days, spend one night in Morioka followed by two in Miyako. The museum requires uphill walking and stairs after the bus. If the coastal cruise is cancelled, remove the sailing and explore the market and town. The museum route includes JPY 340 for return buses between Shin-Hanamaki Station and the museum entrance stop. Check your date’s services and any fare changes in official timetables.

Does the Miyako city-bus day pass include the cruise?

The bus pass alone does not let you board. Show a current JPY 500 city-bus day pass to buy a separate discounted adult cruise ticket for JPY 1,500.
