Visit tips
Check whether your bus has walking stops
Some Lake Tazawa loop buses stop for 20 minutes at Katajiri and 10 minutes at Gozanoishi Shrine. Return to the same bus before the stop ends. Some early-morning and evening services have no walking stops, while some services do not run on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, or designated holiday periods. Check both stop and suspension markings for your date. If changing to another bus, check ticket conditions and additional fares separately.
Snow and path restrictions
Follow local instructions when snow or road and path restrictions affect access. This itinerary visits the statue area during a daytime loop-bus walking stop; sightseeing boats, restaurants, parking, and night visits are excluded.
Questions about The Statue of Tatsuko
