How to get to Kirishima Jingu · 霧島神宮
From Kagoshima-Chuo Station, take the JR Nippo Main Line to Kirishima-Jingu Station. Take a bus toward Kirishima Iwasaki Hotel for about 15 minutes and get off at Kirishima Jingu. The station is not directly outside the shrine. If driving, use the parking route in the operator’s access guide. Standard passenger-car parking is free; allow time to walk from the parking lot to the shrine.

Returning to the station after the shrine
The ordinary route and separate access bus have different operating days, return times, and tickets. Check outbound and return buses together. The separate access bus requires its designated day ticket.

No. Take an additional bus from the station to the shrine. Get off at Kirishima Jingu, then use a return bus from the timetable for your visit date after the shrine visit.
