Hasedera’s grounds include stairs. If you also visit the Great Buddha that day, leave time to walk between the temples and take breaks.

Arrive Before the Admission Cutoff
Admission normally ends at 4:30 p.m., with closing at 5:00 p.m. From April through June, admission ends at 5:00 p.m. and the temple closes at 5:30 p.m. Plan arrival around the admission cutoff, which comes before closing.
