Admission
Park entry is free. Paid facilities, including the aquarium, and purchases at shops cost extra. Standard passenger-car parking is ¥500 per vehicle for one entry per day, under the rates revised April 1, 2026.
Opening hours
The park is accessible 24 hours a day with no regular closure days. Shops and paid facilities keep their own hours. Parking fees are collected on entry from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Explore Katsurahama's shoreline with views of the sea. If you are interested in Ryoma's life, visit the museum first, then take the MY Yu Bus to Katsurahama and continue with a coastal walk.

How to get to Katsurahama Park · 桂浜公園
From JR Kochi Station, take a regular bus to Katsurahama or the MY Yu Bus. Get off at Katsurahama and walk to the park. The MY Yu Bus goes via Godaisan, following a different route from the direct regular bus.

Visit tips
Swimming Is Prohibited
You cannot swim at Katsurahama Beach. If you also want to visit the aquarium, check its admission and hours separately from your park walk. The park's access hours do not apply to shops or paid facilities.
