Admission
Regular admission is ¥2,000, or ¥1,400 for high school and college students; junior high school students and younger are free. High school and college students must show ID at entry. Round-trip buses from Atami Station cost ¥200 each way separately, bringing regular admission plus round-trip buses to ¥2,400.
Opening hours
It is open 9:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with admission until 4 p.m. Check the official calendar for temporary operating changes on your date.

How to get to MOA Museum of Art · MOA美術館
Board a bus for MOA Museum of Art at Atami Station stop 8 and get off at the terminus after about seven minutes. Buy your ticket at the escalator entrance in front of the stop, then ride eight escalator sections for about 10 minutes to MOA Square. Continue to the main building entrance. Ticketing and waiting are additional. Choose your return bus to Atami Station in advance, allowing time to descend from the galleries to the stop. Services marked M in the timetable do not run when the museum is closed.

The main building is still uphill after the bus
After leaving the bus, ride eight escalator sections for about 10 minutes to MOA Square. This is separate from the roughly seven-minute bus ride, and ticketing or waiting takes additional time. On the return, leave time to descend from the galleries to the bus stop too.

Closure dates and your return bus
Thursday closures have a public-holiday opening exception. The museum also closes during exhibition changeovers, so check your date in the official calendar. Bus services marked M in the timetable do not run when the museum is closed.

Can I enter the galleries immediately after leaving the bus?
You still need to reach the main building. Buy your ticket at the escalator entrance in front of the terminus, then ride eight escalator sections for about 10 minutes to MOA Square. Continue from there to the main building entrance. The roughly seven-minute bus ride excludes this time, ticketing, and waiting.
