Visitor information
Admission
Regular individual admission is JPY 320 for ages 18 and over, and JPY 100 for ages 6–17. Visitors aged 65 and over enter free with identification. Check the official visitor guide for group, local-resident and event-related rates or exemptions.
Opening hours
From 1 March to 15 October, the garden is open from 7 am to 6 pm, with admission until 5:30 pm. From 16 October to the end of February, the garden is open from 8 am to 5 pm, with admission until 4:30 pm. The garden is open year-round; teahouses have separate hours and closing days.

Explore the ponds, then follow paths towards pavilions and slopes. Paths through the trees let you take your time around the garden.
How to get to Kenrokuen Garden
Take the Right Loop from stand 7 on Kanazawa Station's east side. Get off at Kenrokuen-shita/Kanazawa Castle and walk about five minutes to Katsurazaka entrance (桂坂口). Mayumizaka entrance (真弓坂口) is closer to Hirosaka/21st Century Museum bus stop. These stops lead to different entrances, so choose where to alight before setting off.
