Admission
Regular individual admission is ¥320 for ages 18 and older and ¥100 for ages 6–17. Visitors age 65 and older can enter free with proof of age. Check the official visitor guide for group rates and discounts or exemptions for local residents and events.
Opening hours
From March 1 through October 15, the garden opens from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with last admission at 5:30 p.m. From October 16 through the end of February, hours change to 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with last admission at 4:30 p.m. The garden is open year-round; tea houses inside have their own hours and closing days.

How to get to Kenrokuen Garden · 兼六園
Board a Right Loop bus at Kanazawa Station’s East Exit, stop 7. Get off at Kenrokuen-shita / Kanazawa Castle and walk about five minutes to the Katsurazaka entrance (桂坂口). If you get off at Hirosaka / 21st Century Museum, the Mayumizaka entrance (真弓坂口) is closer. The two stops serve different entrances, so choose your stop before boarding.
