Admission

General admission costs JPY 500, or JPY 250 for university students and equivalent visitors. High school students and younger enter free. Special exhibitions cost extra.

Opening hours

Opening hours are 09:00–17:00, extending to 18:00 during Golden Week and June–September. Last admission is 30 minutes before closing. The site closes on the fourth Monday each month, or the next day if that Monday is a public holiday. It also closes on 30 December–1 January and collection-management days.

How to get to Sannai-Maruyama Historical Site

From Aomori Station west-side stop 2, take Nebutan-go to 三内丸山遺跡前. The adult fare is JPY 300 per ride. Walk about one minute from the stop, finding Jomon Jiyukan ticketing/entry from the roundabout. Choose your return bus before leaving.
