Admission

General admission is ¥500, or ¥250 for college students and equivalent categories. High school students and younger enter free. Special exhibitions are separate.

Opening hours

The site opens 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., extended to 6:00 p.m. during Golden Week and June–September. Last admission is 30 minutes before closing. It closes on the fourth Monday each month, or the next day if that Monday is a public holiday. It also closes December 30–January 1 and on collection-management days.

How to get to Sannai-Maruyama Historical Site

Board Nebutan-go at Aomori Station's west-side stop 2 and get off at 三内丸山遺跡前. Adult fare is ¥300 per ride. The site is about one minute from the stop on foot. From the bus turnaround, go to the ticketing and admission area in Jomon Jiyukan. Check your bus after the visit before leaving.
