Admission

Ordinary admission costs JPY 500, or JPY 250 for university students and similar categories. High school pupils and younger enter free. Special exhibitions cost extra.

Opening hours and closed days

The site opens from 09:00 to 17:00, with extended closing at 18:00 during Golden Week and June–September. Last entry is 30 minutes before closing. It closes on fourth Mondays or the next day for public holidays, 30 December–1 January and collection-management days.

How to get to Sannai-Maruyama Historical Site

Board at west stop 2 to Sannai-Maruyama Iseki-mae · 三内丸山遺跡前. Adult fare JPY 300 per ride; walk about one minute to the site. From the roundabout, find Jomon Jiyukan’s tickets/entry. Choose the post-visit bus before departing.
