Individual general admission costs JPY 350, or JPY 250 for high school and university students and JPY 150 for primary and junior high students.
Opening hours
The museum opens from 09:00 to 16:30. It closes on Tuesdays, or the following weekday if that Tuesday is a public holiday, and on 28 December–3 January. Based on city guidance updated 31 March 2026; check temporary closures on its calendar.

How to get to Miyazawa Kenji Memorial Museum
Take Tsuchizawa Line (土沢線) from Shin-Hanamaki to 賢治記念館口, then walk uphill about 15 minutes. City guidance dated 6 July 2026 and the association give this time; the path includes 367 listed steps. Ask about other access if stairs are difficult. The latest city transport guidebook lists an adult fare of JPY 170 and a ride of about four minutes. Return towards Michi-no-Eki Towa to Shin-Hanamaki stop 5, about two minutes riding. Check both dated journeys through city guidance.
