How to get to Minoh Falls

From Hankyu Osaka-umeda, take the Takarazuka line to Ishibashi handai-mae. Change to the Minoh line and get off at Minoh, then enter the waterfall path. The falls are about 2.7 kilometres away; park access guidance gives about 40 minutes on foot. Allow 40–50 minutes one way plus a waterfall break and the same-path return. This differs from access starting at Minoh-kayano.

Before you visit

Distinguish Minoh from Minoh-kayano

Hankyu Minoh and Minoh-kayano are different stations. The 40–50-minute waterfall walk starts at Hankyu Minoh, so check the arrival station when searching trains.

Return in daylight and check restrictions

The path has no night lighting. Allow for resting at the falls and walking back to finish in daylight. Check park weather and restriction notices before departure, and do not enter closed sections.

Is 40–50 minutes from Minoh station to the falls a return time?

No. Official guidance is for the one-way walk from Hankyu Minoh to the waterfall. Add the same-path return, a waterfall break, meals and train waiting separately.
