Admission

Standard return ropeway tickets including garden admission cost JPY 2,500 for adults and JPY 1,250 for primary and junior high students. One-way tickets cost JPY 1,900 for adults and JPY 950 for primary and junior high students. Preschool children travel free. Return tickets on night-opening days cost JPY 2,000 for adults and JPY 1,200 for primary and junior high students, with separate summer and Christmas pricing. Standard fares reflect the 1 April 2026 revision.

Opening hours

Ropeway and garden hours vary by season and day. General operating hours are 09:30–17:15 on spring and autumn weekdays, Christmas weekdays and in winter, and 09:30–21:00 on night-opening days. On weekdays from 4 September–6 November 2026, upward ropeway services run from 09:30 to 16:45, with the final downward departure at 17:15. The garden opens from 10:00 to 17:00, with last admission at 16:30. Weekend/public-holiday night access is limited to selected areas. Check garden cut-offs for other periods in date-specific guidance.

How to get to Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens
