Adult tickets cost JPY 2,000 on the day or JPY 1,800 online. High school and university students pay JPY 1,600 or JPY 1,400; primary and junior high school students pay JPY 800 or JPY 600. Preschool children are free.

How to get to The Hakone Open-Air Museum
From Yumoto, take the mountain railway towards Gora to Chokoku-no-Mori, then walk about two minutes. By bus, alight at Ninotaira-iriguchi and walk about six minutes. Trains and buses use different routes.

A journey from Yumoto
The museum lies further uphill from Yumoto on the mountain railway towards Gora. If also exploring Yumoto, allow both return train time and museum time.
