Adult admission is JPY 2,000 with a same-day ticket or JPY 1,800 online. Senior high school and university students pay JPY 1,600 same-day or JPY 1,400 online; primary and junior high school students pay JPY 800 same-day or JPY 600 online. Preschool children enter free.

How to get to The Hakone Open-Air Museum
From Yumoto, take a Gora-bound mountain train to Chokoku-no-mori Station, then walk about two minutes to the museum. If taking a bus, alight at Ninotaira Iriguchi and walk about six minutes. The train and bus use different routes.

Travelling from Yumoto
From Yumoto, take a Gora-bound mountain train further uphill to the museum. If you also want to explore Yumoto Station’s surroundings, allow time for the train both ways as well as the museum visit.
