Atami in two days: add the shrine or the coast?

Stay one night near Atami Station and combine Kiunkaku’s buildings and garden with a coastal walk or Kinomiya Shrine. Sun Beach offers sea views as you walk; the shrine visit takes in its grounds and large camphor tree. Both routes involve hills from the station. Allow breaks, and omit the final visit if you leave the following morning.
