Two days: Sapporo or Hakodate?

Stay one night in Sapporo for park walks and city views, or Hakodate for night scenery between two seas and fort views. The Sapporo itinerary uses New Chitose Airport; Hakodate uses Hakodate Airport. Allow for airport travel and departure procedures first on the final day. Sightsee only if you can still arrive by the time advised by your airline.

Do not add the TV Tower on the final day if you missed it on arrival. Compare individual tickets rather than the combined ticket if you won’t visit both attractions.

Subtotal of confirmed attraction and transport costs: JPY 4,010 per adult

Included: Clock Tower and TV Tower JPY 1,550 + return airport JR fare JPY 2,460

Extra: Flights, accommodation, meals, luggage storage, shopping and Sapporo subway fares. The airport JR calculation uses the one-way non-reserved fare of JPY 1,230; check the official fare or on-site display for your date. Extra charges for reserved seats in car 4 are excluded. Attraction costs use standard individual admission.

If you visit both the Clock Tower and TV Tower within the combined ticket’s sales and validity period, the adult combined ticket of JPY 1,300 + return non-reserved airport JR fare of JPY 2,460 = JPY 3,760. Both attractions sell the combined ticket, which can be used the next day within its validity. A ticket bought on 31 March 2027 cannot be used on 1 April. Skip the relevant visit on Clock Tower closure or TV Tower inspection days. Compare individual tickets for just one attraction. Skipping the TV Tower removes JPY 1,200 from the standard subtotal.
