Two days in Tochigi: temples or Oya and gyoza?

For an unhurried temple visit, stay one night in Nikko and see Toshogu and Rinnoji on separate days. If the quarry and food appeal more, visit Oya History Museum from Utsunomiya, then walk Gyoza Street the next day. The Nikko itinerary starts and ends at Asakusa; the Utsunomiya itinerary starts and ends at Tokyo Station.
