How to get to Wakayama Castle

From JR Wakayama central exit, take an appropriate castle-bound Wakayama Bus service such as route 0 or 25. Alight at Wakayamajo-mae after about ten minutes. Allow extra time to climb to the keep after leaving the bus. JR Wakayama and Nankai Wakayamashi are different stations.

JR Wakayama and Nankai Wakayamashi are different stations. From JR Wakayama, use the central exit and take a castle-bound bus to Wakayamajo-mae. If arriving at Nankai Wakayamashi, check the route from that station to the castle.
