How to get to Wakayama Castle · 和歌山城

From JR Wakayama Station's central exit, take a castle-bound Wakayama Bus service such as routes 0 or 25. Get off at Wakayamajo-mae after about 10 minutes. Allow separate time to climb from the stop to the keep. JR Wakayama and Nankai Wakayamashi are different stations.

Should I use Wakayama or Wakayamashi Station for the castle?

JR Wakayama and Nankai Wakayamashi are different stations. From JR Wakayama Station, leave by the central exit and take a castle-bound bus to Wakayamajo-mae. If arriving at Nankai Wakayamashi Station, check the route to the castle from that station.
