Standard individual admission: adults 2,500 yen; ages 65 and above 2,200 yen; elementary and junior high school pupils 1,200 yen; preschool children aged 3 and above 700 yen. Transport to the aquarium is extra.
Opening hours
Usually open 09:30–17:30; December–February 10:00–17:00. Last admission is 1 hour before closing: 16:30 on standard days and 16:00 in December–February.

Marine-life tanks and sea lion and dolphin shows
Take your time watching marine life at the tanks. Sea lion and dolphin shows add another part to the visit, but they are suspended during the show-pool works described below.
How to get to Marine World Uminonakamichi
Take a JR train from Hakata to Kashii, then transfer to the Kashii Line for Uminonakamichi. The Fukuoka subway one-day pass does not cover this JR journey.
Before you visit
Shows suspended: 12 January–9 April 2027
Show-pool works suspend sea lion and dolphin shows and close the seating area from 12 January to 9 April 2027. The period includes contingency days; check the reopening notice if you are going for a show. The aquarium also closes on 18–21 January 2027.
Allow separately for transfers and aquarium time
From Hakata, you need a train transfer and a walk from Uminonakamichi Station. Add transfer waits and walking to the train rides. A departure-day visit would also require time to collect luggage at your hotel and reach the international terminal afterwards.
